Hurunui hut friday

I quite like Hurunui hut, is an awesome walk in all ways there if ya get nice weather

Tauranga Deer Stalkers have recently given it a make over so it's looking good for a few more years now

Yea got the rusty red colour going now, would still be a good overnight destination(I've only day tripped in) but has a lovely big gap at the bottom of the door lol don't know if you would have any visitors during the night though lol

Long view Howletts Daphne circuit next week Friday and Saturday

Going to Ruatahuna and Minginui this weekend, should be fun!

Top Maropea hut friday and Saturday next week quick easy trip as for some reason Te Atuaoparapara beckons as a quick side walk?

Hoping to go into the Ureweras to do Whakataka track and hut. Hasn't had much work done on it for ages so might be a bit of a bush bash. Looking at the weather forecast just now, might go Mon/Tues.

Back in the Kaimai Mamaku,s next Friday and Saturday thought i would wander round Te Rereatukahia and down to Motutapere I understand that hut has been re-clad recently along the same lines as Hurunui. Anyway a quick jaunt to keep the legs moving before going back to the Ruahines.

Heading to Taranaki on Fri to do the Pouakai Circuit in the weekend and would also like to get up to Syme Hut on Monday or Tuesday.
