Cam Hut

Classic 6 bunk musterers' hut with comfortable mattresses and a wood range. Well provisioned. Unlocked. Permission may be obtained from Mr and Mrs Pitt of Gladstone Downs (7km distant) PH: (03) 575 7473. They welcome hunters especially as the area is severely infested with goats and pigs.

Access

4WD track from true right of Dinners Creek via locked deer fence. Foot access can be via the Cam river which is able to be travelled via the Queen's chain. Nearby access can be from Iris Stream, noted for its beauty and is a paper road so permission is not required to travel this stream. Mt Camden abutts the Mead scenic reserve which is conservation land.
