From Mt White Station (permission required and not always granted). Or the back door way via the Puketeraki Range. Permission may be sought from Landco - one of those ubiquitous tax dodge outfits for wealthy landowners for high country stations which always run at a loss. They're based in Pukekohe, I think and were thinking of damming the Ashley to form a lake in Lees Valley. Here endeth the rant...
