Well it is a surprise that this hut is still there. A while back I read that DOC had removed it but that is apparantly not so. Perhaps they decided to leave it there for the gold miners?

I suppose we should be grateful for the road upgrade due to the mining. Hope the miners are not destroying some of the historic sites on the terrace on the TL but are sticking to the blown out creek bed and or or the cutover bush on the TR of Seven Mile Creek.
