The ruins of Hardy's Hut - an old miner's hut (or should I say prospector, as nothing much of worth seems to have come out of the mines) at Te Aroha. A brief history and a photo of the original is given here:

This hut is still marked on the new Topo50 map series - but as can be seen is not fit for habitation.
