A day walk in an urban jungle Surpriseingly interesting with more wildlife than I have seen in many New Zealand Forests
Interestingly this is probably a bird watches paradise (feathered type although the two legged variety do figure highly in the equation). Because of DOC work on the outer islands with endangered species and the extra work the Ark project in Waitakaries has done visits by Robin, kaka and other native species you dont often see in the bush are increasing.
