Cass Saddle Hut
An old Forest Service hut on the Cass-Lagoon Saddle Track, built in 1953. The hut is located just below the treeline north of Cass Saddle. Three bunks in the main part of the hut along with another bench suitable for sleeping in the enclosed foyer. No mattresses. A creek nearby emerges out of the the scree and provides a water supply before dropping over a pretty, mossy waterfall. Ample camping in the light forest above the hut.
