Manuoha Hut
A small basic hut more commonly frequented by hunters then trampers. Situated 5 minutes past the trig. It has 6 bunks, a water tank and a small wood stove for heating (not suitable for cooking - carry your own stove)
As at Labour Weekend 2007 there was no water supply as the tank had rusted out. DOC are aware of this.

Access
From SH38 allow for 6hrs climbing steeply through difficult terrain. Alternate access from Sandy Bay hut is also tending up hill but is more gradual over a greater distance.
